Ibrahim Aljazy holds a PhD in International Law from School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. And a Master Degree from the University of Essex ,UK. He is an international lawyer and enjoys extensive practical expertise in the areas of public international law, human rights issues, environmental law, law of seas, humanitarian law, international arbitration and anti- corruption.
Prof. Aljazy served as the director of the office of Legal Affairs Dept., University of Jordan for more than 8 years.
Prof. Aljazy is the President of the International Law Association Jordanian Branch, Board Member of the Middle East International Law Association, a member on the Jordanian National Committee of the International Criminal Court and a Board Member of the Jordanian IHL Commission.
In 2011 - 2012, Prof. Ibrahim Aljazy served as a Minister of State for Legal Affairs and Minister of Justice.
In 2013- 2014 Prof. Aljazy was appointed as an assistant for the president of the University, Amman Arab University and Dean of the School of Law.
In 2014 Prof. Ibrahim Aljazy was appointed as the Dean of the School of Law at University of Jordan.
